Clinical Reasoning of Using High-Calorie Enteral Nutrition in Critical States in Children

Abstract


In this article there are considered questions of potential use of high-calorie mixtures in children at critical states. Studies were carried out in 36 children, in which we used enteral nutrition with specialized high-calorie mixtures. Using enteral nutrition in combination with high-calorie mixtures prevents the development of severe metabolic disorders and improves the clinical course of critical state in children in intensive care unit.
