Standards of Emergency Care in Acute Pancreatitis at the Prehospital and Early Hospital Stages

O.V. Kravets

Abstract

In order to determine the informativeness and diagnostic value of qualitative near-patient testing of acute pancreatitis by determining the levels of trypsinogen-2 in urine we examined 47 patients with acute abdominal pain. The findings were analyzed taking into account the coincidence frequency of test results for trypsinogen-2 level in urine with the results of conventional clinical methods of laboratory and instrumental examination. The sensitivity of the screening test was 94 %, specificity — 92 %.
