Abstract

In the article the attention is paid of one of the urgent problems of modern medicine — postoperative anesthesia. There are given the results of the study of comparative effectiveness of postoperative analgesia in urological patients on the basis of Acupan (nefopam) and morphine for the relief of acute postoperative pain of varying degrees of severity. It is shown that Acupan in the complex of perioperative multimodal analgesia has excellent analgesic activity, no sedative effect and respiratory depression, makes it possible to achieve better pain relief than traditional opiate analgesia at much better tolerance and much lower incidence of side effects.
