Abstract

The article presents a literature review which deals with mechanisms of hemodynamic and organ protective effects of riboxine. The results of our own investigations which indicate the presence of reliable negative chronotropic effect of riboxine and significant positive inotropic effects when introducing in a dose of 800 mg. Riboxine contributed to the normalization of the central hemodynamics indices, and the mentioned effects were the more strong, the more apparent was the patients’ initial tachycardia.
