Abstract

The study was conducted in 34 children after operative interventions on abdominal organs. Depending on the method of anesthesia, patients were divided into 2 groups: in group 1, quadratus lumborum block was used; in group 2, only intravenous continuous infusion of fentanyl was administered. Multicomponent analgesia (using quadratus lumborum block) significantly reduces the negative effects of insufficient anesthesia in children and promotes effective analgesia after traumatic operations, reduces manifestations of intra-abdominal hypertension syndrome and improves blood flow in the abdominal vessels.
