Despite the appearance of new antihypertensive drugs, a matter of choosing the most effective and safe antihypertensive therapy in patients with severe preeclampsia remains open. Drug, with which you can quickly and efficiently achieve stable hypotensive effect with a minimum of adverse reactions and the negative impact on the mother and fetus, should primarily affect the pathogenetic components of preeclampsia. It is known that L-arginine and urapidil have these effects, but the question of doses, routes and speed of administration of these drugs has not been fully resolved.
