Prolonged postoperative acute pain can cause the development of functional disorders of the lungs, cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract, central nervous system, hemostasis system, etc. The use of opioids increases the number of complications in the early postoperative period. Therefore, today a promising area is the use of multimodal analgesia, which promotes better pain relief, a smoother clinical course, early mobilization of patients by minimizing the number of complications caused by opioids. The choice of an adequate model of postoperative analgesia should be based on an understanding of the multifaceted nature of the pain syndrome, which may include both the somatic component due to surgical trauma and neuropathic one caused by chronic inflammation, neuropathy, ischemic disorders. The article presents data from current researches on the concept of multimodal analgesia, which shows that the use of dexketoprofen (Dexpro) as its part promotes better and longer analgesia, prevents the development of chronic postoperative pain, reduces the need for narcotic analgesics.}, number={5}, journal={EMERGENCY MEDICINE}, author={Nikonov, V.V. and Lyzohub, K.I. and Lyzohub, M.V.}, year={2020}, month={Sep.}, pages={28–32} }
